Sielmat Bible College was established on April 1, 1980. In the beginning, it was called Sielmat Bible School. In 1980, it had only fifteen students, with Rev. D. Ruolngul, B.A., B.D., as the first Principal, assisted by Rev. Lalngaisang and Rev. H.B. Hluothang. Over the past few decades, it has grown in size and strength through the guidance of God.
